This produces lush wines with a strong blossom aroma. They call it 'Blüten' in Austria. This is the first one we tasted. The Weinviertel is the largest wine region in Austria. It is located in a beautiful landscape between the Danube and the Czech border in the far northeast of Austria. Weinviertel has a fascinating variety of grape varieties and flavor styles. The winemakers from the Weinviertel make a lot of peppery Grüner Veltiner, but they have much more to offer. Such as red wines from Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Blaufränksch and Blauburger.
