Voskevaz Katerine

The Kakhet is an Armenian blue grape from which mainly sweet red wines were made in the last century. Fortunately, we were spared almost all those bottles. They were of questionable quality and had their final destination in Moscow. This one from Voskevaz is a completely different story. This is simply a very good dessert wine.

Red brown. Smells like rosehip jam and tomato chutney. Tastes like plums on rum, cocoa, bergamot and cherry chocolates. Combines beautifully with chocolate desserts.
