Atelier Öküzgözü

The Öküzgözü, or 'the bull's eye' is one of the most important blue wine grapes in Turkey. A grape with potential, which does not care about the warm and dry climate of Anatolia. This wine of pure Öküzgözü is made by Vinkara, a producer that has been making wine in Anatolia, close to Ankara, since the 1960s.

This is a Turk with muscles that is full of cherries, blackberries and figs. A bit droppy and toasted. The tannin is clearly present and needs to be softened by a meal. Choose seasoned meat and/or grilled vegetables.
