Wine from Crete has been a household name in the wine world for thousands of years. Due to its strategic location, Crete played an important role in the spread of wine and wine grapes from Greece and Egypt to western Europe in ancient times. Nowadays, a lot of wine is made again. Especially from typical grapes of the island, such as the white Vilana and the red Liatiko.

Dit is een van de lekkerste witte wijnen die ik de afgelopen jaren heb geproefd. Vol, fris, kruidig en tintelend in de mond. Je kunt hem als aperitief gebruiken want daar istie uitgebalanceerd genoeg voor. Maar hij kan ook bij een kruidige souzouki, souflaki of kip. Zijn geld meer dan waard.

Ik ben een fervent Kretaganger en kom daar al 20 jaar.
Bij de eerste slok van deze wijn was ik meteen terug op mijn geliefde Kreta! Je proeft de Kretenzer bodem, de cultuur en de sfeer van dit prachtige eiland terug in iedere slok. Ieder glas een minivakantie!
