Shabo Chardonnay

This is the entry-level white from the Ukrainian wine producer Shabo. They have their vineyards near the city of Odessa on the Black Sea. Made from Chardonnay and featuring a little sun on the label. Because the sun shines abundantly there. In short, a fine spot for a vineyard.

This entry-level model is nicely dry, fresh, and quite crisp. Chardonnay without oak. Not a high flyer (that is not advisable near Odessa anyway), but neatly made and uncomplicated drinking pleasure.
