The winemakers of Te Wā do not own any vineyards themselves. They work closely with grape growers across Moldova. They found the Chardonnay grapes for this wine in the vineyard of the Yurco family. It is just 1 hectare in size and lies in the east of the country. Te Wā works on a 'low intervention' basis: they let nature do as much of the work as possible and add no yeasts. A small part (17%) of this wine was aged in oak. The rest matured for half a year 'sur lie'. An approach that reveals a serious wine.| Color: | White | Taste profile: | Full and dry | Country: | Moldova |
