Scheurebe
The Scheurebe grape. Bred in 1915 by Georg Scheu from Rheinhessen with the aim of obtaining a 'better Silvaner'. In practice, German wine growers usually make sweet wines from it. Making dry wine from Scheurebe requires more dexterity. The makers of Stepp have been entrusted with this.
Their Scheurebe is an extrovert type. Fresh peach bursts from the glass. Apple fresh, soft citrus and slightly nutty. Typical German white. But is it better than a Silvaner?

Palatinate

The Palatinate is one of the largest wine regions in Germany. It is a long strip in the middle of the country, from Bockenheim to the French Alsace. You will find mainly beautiful white wines from the Riesling and, by German standards, many red wines from the Dornfelder and the Spätburgunder. The winemakers of the Palatinate are innovative and like to experiment. A very contemporary wine region.
