That's great for a blind tasting! This organic light red wine looks like a Burgundy. But its floral character and fresh fruit of berries, young cherries and raspberries are more reminiscent of Beaujolais. If it weren't for its peppery spiciness and edge of tannin, it would resemble a Syrah from the Rhône.

No one would guess that it is a characteristic Areni Noir from Armenia, which has matured for six months in Caucasian oak. Nothing to be ashamed of. Combine with a pink baked lamb tenderloin. You could have guessed that.
