Our wines with the highest Vivino scores

In just a few years, originally Danish Vivino has grown into the largest Wine app in the world. Millions of wine lovers from all over the world rate wines on a scale of 1 (bad) to 5 (good).

We have noticed that sweet wines or wines with some residual sugar score relatively high on Vivino. In addition, wines with a lot of aroma and a lot of 'body' often get a somewhat higher score. There is nothing wrong with that. With Vivino it is just like with the audience score at the Eurovision Song Contest: Standing out helps.

That does not mean that Vivino wines with a high score are also 'the best wines'. Just as the Eurovision Song Contest has not produced the best music ever. For those who are looking for (dry) wines with refinement, finesse and subtlety, the Vivino score is not a suitable indicator. Vivino is an app that mainly helps novice wine drinkers and 'wine drinkers' to find their favorite wines.
