White wine made from the light pink Greek Roditis grape is full of flavor, in which citrus freshness predominates, but in which you can also detect melon, apple, and sometimes a delicate spiciness. These are wines that should be drunk young.
However, not all Roditis wines are the same, as the same applies to the grape itself. It is an ancient variety from which various clones have emerged over the centuries. They grow in vineyards scattered throughout almost all of Greece. Therefore, ensure that you are dealing with a good winemaker. Usually, this is not even necessary, as Roditis is generally blended with white grapes of a better reputation, such as Assyrtiko.
