The Blütenmuskateller is a grape variety of Russian origin that has been permitted in Austria for quality wines since 2018. Blütenmuskateller produces a very exuberant, aromatic white wine with notes of muscat, sweet spices, blossoms, grapes, and tropical fruit. Blütenmuskateller is usually used for sweet wines.

The Blütenmuskateller is a so-called 'hybrid' variety, bred in Russia in 1947. One of the grapes used for this cultivation is the Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains. This is possibly where it gets its Muscat character. A key quality of the grape is its resistance to fungi such as powdery mildew. It was bred for this, making it attractive to winemakers. The Blütenmuskateller can develop high sugar levels. This makes it attractive for the production of sweet wines. As far as we know, wines from the Blütenmuskateller are only found in Austria.
