Wine and hazenpeper pairings

You can combine a hare pepper stew with a fairly strong red wine. Don't go for a fruity one, but rather for a ripe red wine with spices and spiciness in the taste.

Wines from the Nebbiolo grape, such as Barolo and Barbaresco, are suitable for this work. Other robust red Italians are also suitable. In France, you can seek your salvation in the northern Rhone. But there are also more surprising combinations to be found, for example in the Balkans.
