Budureasca Wines is one of the largest and most modern wineries in Romania. It lies about an hour's drive north of Bucharest, in the heart of Dealu Mare, the country's best-known red wine region. With around 275 hectares of its own vineyards, it is one of the largest producers in the region. Budureasca grows both indigenous Romanian grapes, such as Fetească Neagră, Fetească Regală and Tămâioasă Românească, and international varieties. Since its founding, British winemaker Stephen Donnelly has been at the helm. More about Budureasca Wines
