Bott-Frigyes is a special winemaker. He makes wines from volcanic vineyards in the south of Slovakia, right on the border with Hungary - a region where Hungarian is spoken, since it was part of Hungary until the First World War. Bott-Frigyes upholds the old wine traditions here, making lovely wines from Hungarian and international grapes, with little intervention in the cellar but a great deal of character in the glass.
