Nuiba Wines is the project of talented young 'garagiste' Suzanne Coetzee. After years of apprenticeship at the prestigious Clos Malverne Wine Estate in Stellenbosch, Suzanne started making her own wines in 2016. She scours the surrounding vineyards for the best grapes, buys them, and presses her own wines, all aged in used oak barrels. More about Nuiba Wines
The Piekenierskloof Wine Company is largely owned by Ouwbaas and Potgieter van Zyl, two brothers who took over the farm from their father Johan Abraham van Zyl. The brothers work together with several farms in the area. They are Fair Trade certified, and for them that goes beyond a piece of paper: they invest in local schools, and their employees jointly own 50% of the company.
