Did you know?
The renowned Moldovan winery Et Cetera was founded at the beginning of this century. From the start, they looked with an open mind at which grapes best suited the 'terroir', in other words the specific climatic conditions of the vineyards. That is how Carménère came to be chosen. A grape we mainly know from Chile, but which, funnily enough, also makes very fine wines here in the east of Moldova, even though not a word of Spanish is spoken in the vineyard.
