Did you know?
Once upon a time, long ago in the Middle Ages, there was a little winegrower in Gaillac. It was almost winter and our little winegrower didn't want to wait any longer to bottle his white wine. In the spring he opened the first bottle. To his horror, there were bubbles in it. The wine had gone into the bottle a little too early, not yet fully fermented! He called it the Méthode Ancestrale and we drank it happily ever after.| Color: | White | Taste profile: | Sparkling and dry | Country: | France |

The ancient wine region of Gaillac is located in the very south of France. For centuries it was one of the most important exporters of French wine. Until it lost the competition to the traders in Bordeaux in the nineteenth century. In recent years, Gaillac and its forgotten, old grape varieties have been rediscovered by adventurous wine drinkers.

helder , licht geel,
