In our selection of Madeiras, we mainly followed the criterion 'drinkability'. Because Madeira may be kept for almost forever, but the bottle has to be used up at some point, right? This doesn't seem to be a problem with this five-year matured Medium Sweet Reserve.

It smells a bit like butter babblers. And in the mouth it is soft and round. It evokes associations with home-baked apple pie (grandma's of course), syrup and dates. It's not too sweet, but we still recommend it with cheese. It will definitely come up.
