Did you know?
Wine with the Gavi di Gavi appellation is made from the Cortese grape. A difficult customer. He swears by long, sunny summers and relies on his fresh acidity. In the hands of a lazy winemaker he can be bored to death and produce ditto wines. Fortunately, Gianluigi Bergaglio knows his trade. He bottled his first wine with his father Nicola in 1977. It smells of citrus and walnut. Offers fresh apple, gooseberry and green claude. Mild and juicy with sufficient breadth and a bit of absinthe spiciness. Combines with any salad or fish dish where you like to sprinkle a little lemon.| Color: | White | Taste profile: | Fresh and dry | Country: | Italy |

Piemonte, in the northwest of Italy, has become a well-known wine region mainly thanks to two iconic wines: Barolo and Barbaresco. Powerful red wines from the Nebbiolo grape that can ripen for a long time. The popular Barbera d'Alba and Moscato d'Asti also come from Piemonte. And then we forget dozens of lesser-known wines that are eagerly picked from the shelves of the liquor store by enthusiasts.
